Kink.com the Armory

Most of you have heard of kink.com as they are the world’s largest producer of Internet “Domination Style” porn. They are also the creators of Tranny Domination site TSseduction.com which is one of the finest shemale sites on the internet. Today I would like to talk about ‘The Armory’ Which was purchased by Kink in 2006.
The Armory is situated in the Mission District of San Francisco, California. The building was constructed in 1912 as an Armory and Arsenal for the US National Guard. From the 1920′s to the 1940′s it was used as a Sports venue for boxing etc. Then from 1976-2006 the building was pretty much abandoned however in 1978 it was classified as a Class 2 historical landmark which likely saved it from the wrecking ball.

Then in 2006 Kink.com came to the rescue of the old and nearly falling down building. They purchased it for a whopping $14.5 Million Dollars. People were shocked to say the least, that first they were going to have such a studio in a Landmark building such as this. Secondly they were shocked that this type of pornography fetched the sort of money to even be able to make a purchase of this magnitude. There were protestors of course as there always are when the porn industry does just about anything. The saving grace for Kink.com was likely where this building was located… San Francisco. The place that is known as a safe haven for minority groups like gays and transsexuals. Certainly a little BDSM mixed in for good measure can’t hurt anyone, Right?

The funny thing about Kink.com is that no one ever seems to have a bad thing to say about them. The models that work there, The Film Crews, The guests. Even the mainstream media that have been invited to various shoots and events that they hold rarely have a bad thing to say about the operation. Make no mistake this is big business and these guys are true professionals. So I wonder does all this GOOD press actually ruin their reputation? Apparently not.
The plans for the future of the Armory were to refurbish it and add additional studios for the production of all kinds of movies. The porn industry has taken a severe hit since they took over in 2006 with all the piracy and blatant theft of content. They do appear to be holding strong however and we can only wish them the best of luck in the future.
